Brand Resource Centre

Build a brand worth trusting.

Everything you need to represent BizPal — our story, voice, logos, colours, typography and mascots — in one structured system. No guesswork. Know us better, represent us accurately.

Why this exists

Clarity for the brand, the same way we build it for businesses.

BizPal turns fragmented business data into a clear, investor-ready narrative. This centre does the same for our identity: it turns scattered brand decisions into one structured, repeatable system anyone can apply — staff, partners, press and event co-organisers.

Structured

Every rule is documented, measurable and consistent — the brand equivalent of Structure Before Scale.

Grounded

No decoration for its own sake. Every element carries the message: clarity, control, confidence.

Open

Assets and guidelines are available to anyone representing BizPal — with a brand team ready to help.

Overview

About the BizPal Brand

Our brand is how we think, behave and present ourselves to the world. It lives in the stories we tell, the systems we build and the way we help SMEs see their business clearly.

Our story

Many SMEs are busy running their business — but lack clear visibility.

Profitability, cash flow, growth readiness: for most SME owners, the key data is fragmented, making important decisions difficult and reactive. BizPal was created to bridge this gap.

Through CapitalOS, BizPal turns scattered business and financial data into clear, actionable insights — helping entrepreneurs understand performance, identify value drivers, and prepare their business for sustainable growth and capital opportunities.

BizPal is more than a platform. It is a business intelligence and capital-readiness ecosystem that helps SMEs build clarity, structure, and confidence for the next stage of growth.

BizPal is not just a platform. It is a way of thinking.
Foundation

Our brand foundation

Vision

Grow with clarity

A future where business grows with clarity, confidence, and sustainable success.

Mission

Empower through structure

To build a leading fintech platform that empowers businesses to grow through technology, branding, and finance.

Principles

Our core commitments

No Data, No Talk

Opinions don't drive decisions — data does. Every insight, recommendation and strategy must be grounded in numbers, structure and logic.

Structure Before Scale

Growth without structure is fragile. Every business must first be understandable, repeatable and measurable — before it can be scalable.

Think Like an Investor

We don't just run businesses — we evaluate them. We think in value drivers, risk, return and exit potential.

Systems Over Shortcuts

There are no hacks that last. We build systems that work consistently, scale sustainably and outlast individuals.

Simplify Complexity

Business is complex — understanding it shouldn't be. We turn chaos into structure, noise into insight, data into decisions.

Continuous Refinement

No model is perfect. We constantly test, improve and refine — because better structure leads to better outcomes.

Personality

The Creator

BizPal's archetype is The Creator: a builder of systems. We are not here to motivate you — we are here to help you see clearly and build deliberately. We believe most businesses don't fail because of effort; they fail due to a lack of structure, clarity and systems.

The Creator — BizPal brand archetype illustration

Smart

Thinks in systems, not shortcuts. Breaks complex problems into clear, structured models.

Structured

Sees patterns where others see chaos. Turns messy businesses into repeatable systems.

Creative

Designs tools, frameworks and solutions. Builds what doesn't exist to solve real problems.

Calm. Precise. Intentional. We don't oversell. We don't overpromise. We build what matters — and remove what doesn't.
Brand drivers

What we want clients to say

Brand drivers guide everything we put into the market. Keep asking: what do we want our clients to say about us? Keep doing the things that drive these sentences, and the brand takes care of itself.

"BizPal helps me see my business clearly with real data."

"BizPal shows me how investors actually evaluate my business."

"BizPal made me realise my problem was structure, not revenue."

"BizPal makes me feel in control of my business again."

Using the BizPal brand

BizPal welcomes appropriate use of our brand assets by clients, partners and community members who support our mission. All usage must follow these guidelines to keep the brand consistent and protect its integrity. At a minimum, use our most distinctive assets as documented here: the logo, Open Sans typography, and the Deep Blue / Bright Orange palette.

These guidelines do not grant third parties any trademark rights. When in doubt, ask first.

Voice & Tone

Writing for BizPal

BizPal speaks with clarity and intent. Our voice reflects how investors think — not how businesses hope.

Point of view

We diagnose. We structure. We guide.

We do not overpromise, over-explain or over-simplify. We use simple, structured sentences; statements, not hype; and cause → effect logic. Every word has a purpose.

Direct

Says what matters. No fluff.

Calm

Confident without being loud.

Challenging

Questions assumptions, reveals blind spots.

Voice guide

The five voice characteristics

Mascot language

To moo, or not to moo?

Cash Cow and Bull Run are characters and companions — not our voice. They show up with charm in illustrations and moments of celebration, but we never put words in their mouths, and BizPal copy never speaks as them.

What to do
  • Use finance-animal references sparingly — one per piece is plenty
  • Lean on what they represent: stability (Cash Cow), momentum (Bull Run)
  • Let the mascots appear in welcome, celebration and milestone moments
What not to do
  • Don't write copy in a mascot's voice ("Moo! Your cash flow looks great!")
  • Don't invent new mascot words or puns that undercut credibility
  • Don't use mascots in serious contexts: risk warnings, compliance, pricing
Checklist

Voice checklist

Before anything ships, check the copy against this list:

  • Is every claim grounded in data, structure or logic? (No Data, No Talk)
  • Can it be simplified without losing accuracy?
  • Does it show cause → effect rather than assert conclusions?
  • Does it sound calm and precise — or is it hyping?
  • Does it challenge the reader usefully, or just agree with them?
  • Would an investor take this sentence seriously?
Visual Elements

Logos

Our logo system includes the BizPal symbol and wordmark. Use it consistently, give it room, and never redraw it.

Primary lockup

Horizontal and vertical

The horizontal lockup is the default for most applications. The vertical (stacked) lockup suits square and portrait formats. "Biz" sets in navy on light backgrounds and white on dark; "Pal" is always Bright Orange.

Vertical lockup — square & portrait formats
Clearspace & sizing

Give the logo room to work

Maintain clearspace of 0.25x on all sides of the logo, where x is the height of the logo. Nothing enters that space — no text, imagery or page edges.

Minimum sizes

Horizontal lockup

Print: 12mm height minimum
Digital: 45px height minimum

Vertical lockup

Print: 30mm height minimum
Digital: 75px height minimum

BizPal symbol

Symbol only

Print: 9mm height minimum
Digital: 24px height minimum

Backgrounds

Colour usage on backgrounds

BizPal on black
On black — "Biz" in white
BizPal on blue
On Deep Blue — "Biz" in white
BizPal on white
On white / light grey — "Biz" in navy
Only use approved logo files from the Logo Library. Do not redraw, recolour, stretch, rotate, outline, add effects, or place the logo on low-contrast backgrounds.
Don'ts

Keep the mark intact

Don't
Stretch, squash or rotate the logo.
Don't
Change the colours or set "Pal" in anything but orange.
Don't
Add drop shadows, outlines, gradients or glow effects.
Don't
Place the logo over busy photography without a scrim.
Don't
Recreate the symbol from shapes or fonts.
Don't
Use old or partner-modified versions of the mark.
Visual Elements

Colour

BizPal's colours reflect its role as a data-driven corporate finance platform — guiding users from trust → insight → action.

Palette

Primary palette

Deep Blue — Primary
HEX #1a4789 · RGB 26, 71, 137 · CMYK 81/48/0/46

Trust · Stability · Intelligence. Anchors BizPal in credibility and data-driven decision-making.

Bright Orange — Secondary
HEX #f57d20 · RGB 245, 131, 32 · CMYK 0/47/87/4

Action · Growth · Opportunity. Highlights key actions, insights and moments of execution.

Neutrals

White
HEX #ffffff · RGB 255, 255, 255
Grey
HEX #d2d6dc · RGB 210, 214, 220 · CMYK 5/3/0/14
Black
HEX #231f20 · RGB 35, 31, 32 · CMYK 0/11/9/86

Neutrals stand for simplicity, structure and focus — they provide clarity, hierarchy and a clean working environment.

Usage

How to apply the palette

  • Deep Blue leads. Use it for structure: headers, navigation, data frameworks, backgrounds of authority.
  • Orange acts. Reserve it for CTAs, highlights, key numbers and moments of execution — if everything is orange, nothing is.
  • Neutrals breathe. White space and grey keep layouts calm and legible. Most of any layout should be neutral.
  • Duotone with purpose. Navy imagery with a single orange sweep (as on the website and event posters) is our signature look.
Accessibility: body text sits in Black or Deep Blue on light backgrounds, or White on navy. Never set body copy in orange or grey, and never place orange text on blue.
Visual Elements

Typography

One family, used with discipline: Open Sans. Bold for headers, Regular for body. Structure shows in the spacing.

Typeface

Open Sans

Headers: Open Sans Bold. Body: Open Sans Regular. Open Sans is free, highly legible at small sizes, and renders consistently across print, web and slides — a system that works everywhere, like everything else we build.

XL Headlines
Headlines
Subheads carry the structure
Body copy sets in Open Sans Regular. Keep line length near 60–75 characters, and let cause → effect logic drive the paragraph, one idea at a time.
Rules

Size and spacing

Minimum size

Use a minimum of 10pt for print media and 22px for large digital displays; never smaller than the platform's legibility floor. When in doubt, size up.

Spacing ratio

Minimum space between a headline and body is 1:1 — a 20pt headline gets at least 20pt of space below it. Use 2× spacing between headline and body, 1.5× between body paragraphs.

Hierarchy is the message. If a layout needs more than three type sizes, the content probably needs restructuring first.
Visual Elements

Mascots

Two finance classics, made friendly: Cash Cow and Bull Run. They bring warmth to a data-driven brand — used with purpose, never as decoration.

The pair

Meet Cash Cow and Bull Run

Cash Cow

Cash Cow

Stability · Cash Flow · Sustainability

Symbolises businesses that generate consistent returns and strong fundamentals. Used to communicate financial discipline, profitability and long-term value.

Bull Run

Bull Run

Growth · Momentum · Expansion

Symbolises businesses in a phase of rapid growth and capital acceleration. Used to communicate scaling, opportunity and market momentum.

Only use approved mascot artwork from the Mascot Library. Both mascots wear the orange BizPal pendant — that stays. Do not redraw, recolour or generate variations.
Usage

Where they belong — and where they don't

Use mascots for
  • Welcome, onboarding and milestone moments
  • Social content, events, merch and community touchpoints
  • Explaining the two growth modes: steady cash flow vs. acceleration
Keep mascots out of
  • Investor documents, valuations and compliance material
  • Pricing, legal and risk communications
  • Any layout where they cover text or data

Remember: the mascots are companions, not our voice. See Writing for BizPal.

Visual Elements

Brand in Action

Our brand across print, digital and events. Be expressive — but stay consistent with BizPal visuals.

Principles

Five rules for any application

1 · Lead with a clear, targeted message

One focused value proposition per piece, aligned to the intended audience.

2 · Use duotone with purpose

Navy imagery with the orange sweep reinforces brand colours while creating contrast and impact.

3 · Apply brand elements consistently

Integrate shapes, colours and layouts into one recognisable system across every touchpoint.

4 · Use the correct logomark

Right lockup, right colourway, right clearspace — credibility starts with the mark.

5 · Bring focus to the subject

Use contrast and composition to direct attention to key figures, speakers and numbers.

Applications

Where the brand lives

Event posters

Masterclasses and bootcamps: navy hero, speaker photography, orange sweep, HRDC badge in orange.

Newsletters

Monthly updates in the duotone system — real photos of real programmes across ASEAN.

Website & product

Dark navy heroes, white content sections, orange CTAs — exactly as documented in this centre.

Social media

Structured insight posts: one message, one framework, one CTA.

Events & backdrops

Repeating-logo press walls and stage screens in navy with orange accents.

Merch & team

Team tees and lanyards carry the symbol; mascots appear on community merch.

Example gallery images will be added from the campaign archive — placeholders for the website build.
