Two Days That Made SMEs Investible

Capital Month — founders walked in with a question and left with a position.

Two Days That Made SMEs Investible

On 16–17 May at We Space Kepong, founders walked in carrying the same quiet question: what is my business actually worth — and would an investor agree? Capital ABC was our answer.

We opened with valuation — not the textbook kind, but the version investors actually price. Day 1 closed on the deck, narrative, and data room. Day 2 went into the engine: dashboards a CFO, a board, and an investor all read the same way. Every team left with a sharper valuation, a tighter narrative, and a decision system built on their own data. Investible isn't a pitch — it's a position.

In Their Words

"The future is not about competing with AI, but strengthening the qualities that make us human."

Anya Tan CEO, BizPal

With baby Nate's arrival, I've been reflecting on Generation Beta — the children who will grow up with AI, automation, and machine learning as a natural part of everyday life. As technology becomes more capable, our human qualities may become even more valuable. Authentic communication, honest feedback, empathy, and meaningful relationships could be the very things that set people apart in an increasingly automated world. That belief sits at the heart of BizPal — where business owners, investors, and professionals come together to build trust, create value, and grow stronger ecosystems. We're building the kind of company — and the kind of community — we want Nate's generation to inherit.
